The best children's stories of Ottilie Wildermuth, selected by her daughter Adelheid Wildermuth, written in German script. Beautiful full-cover colour paste-down to front, burgundy cloth spine, burgundy text block edges, charming full colour endpapers of children and elves, lovely full-colour frontispiece - four colour plates in all, as well as several two-tone illustrations throughout text, illuminated first letters at story beginnings, remnant (approximately two thirds of the front) of dust jacket, which has the same illustration as the front board but in brown tones, is tucked into book. Corners, spine ends and edges somewhat worn, back cover has shelf wear, front endpaper has approximately one-inch split at top and bottom of gutter, one of the colour plates has a two-inch repaired tear (no tape), and spine is cracked at page 18. Clean inside, a very handsome book. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees. Canadian customers, please note that applicable sales taxes will be added. Please contact us with any questions you might have.
