British School of Archeology in Egypt, quarterly journal on ancient Egypt, five parts: 1914 parts I, II, III and IV (first four to be published), and 1915 part II. Contain papers on Ancient Egypt illustrated throughout with black and white photos and drawings. Beige covers with red paper spines, black titling, all feature a black and white photo of a different artifact on front next to table of contents. All covers are slightly age-darkened with some spotting, worn on corners, spine ends and edges. Two have light colored water marks on front, but with no rippling to covers or pages. About 50 pages each.

Fabulous large-size book of paintings and text about ancient Eyptian royals; portraits by Winifred Brunton, history by eminent Egyptologists, foreword by Professor J.H. Breasted. 15 gorgeous paintings plus 3 photographs of the shrouds of mummies of Sety I, and Ramses II and III, each illustration with tissue guards. Light brown cloth with very bright gilt titling and decorations on front and spine. Endpapers are lightly foxed, textblock edges have foxing spots, dust jacket has a brown mark on back, otherwise book and dust jacket are in excellent shape. 163 pages

Volume 1 of 2. Book is the first authoritative account of the Earl of Carnarvon's famous discovery in the Valley of the Kings. Red cloth with gilt titling on spine and front, gilt illustration on front, leading and lower text block edges untrimmed, decorated end papers, black and white frontispiece, and illustrated with one hundred and four photographs by Harry Burton of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Corners and spine ends have light wear, back cover has a few wrinkles where fabric is separated from board, cover is clean and bright, text block edges slightly darkened, two newspaper clippings are taped to back of half-title page and back of frontispiece, owner's name in ink, plate at page 120 is detached but present, pages 329-332 (index) are uncut at leading edge, the following two pages have been cut leaving jagged tears along the edge, book has a slightly smoky odour. Dust jacket has edge wear with chipping, spine and edges sunned, front has a few small stains. In spite of flaws, this is a very handsome volume. 334 pages
