"The Canadian Settler's Guide" has a black and white frontispiece, illustrated title page, introduction by Carl Ballstadt, illustrated with small black and white drawings by Frits Jacobsen. 45 pages The "calendar" portion has an illustrated title page, is edited by Michael S. Batts, contains the complete monthly entries as they originally appeared (in the fifth edition, Toronto, 1855) with the addition of appropriate passages drawn from the remaining, disconnected portions of her work.
