Brown cloth with gilt titling on the spine, blind-stamped simple border front and back, brown end papers, publisher's advertising on last few pages, 419 pages. Corners and edges worn, shelf wear, spine is lightly sunned, spine has a one-inch by half-inch tear at top end and tiny closed tears at bottom end, boards have some areas where colour is rubbed or has paled, text block edges are darkened, text block has a pale damp stain at top corner that affects the majority of the pages, text is basically clean and tight.

Green cloth with gilt titling on spine, illustrated with black and white photographs, 160 pages. Minor wear to bottom edge, text block edges slightly darkened, owner's inscription in ink on front endpaper, a few pages at centre of text block have paper-clip remnant at top edge. Dust jacket, which is not price-clipped, has edge wear including chipping and a half-inch closed tear at top edge of back, but is basically bright and clean.

Red cloth with blind-stamp collection title "The Antiquary's Books" on front board which is difficult to read because of two inch damp stain, blind stamp border, gilt title and border on spine, ex library book with usual markings, black and white illustrations throughout, index of places and general index, eight pages of publisher's advertisements, two fold out illustrations attached to back free end paper. Several small, and one two inch damp stain on boards, spine sunned, worn corners and edges, spine cracked at preface, fold out illustrations have several creases. 7.75"-9.75" tall. 336 pages.

Red covers with gilt titling on front, well styled title page, this book is a collection of colour plate portraits of the monarchs between and including the two Elizabeths, the pages are very well designed with borders and captions. A few pale white marks on covers, pages are clean and bright, small pencil marks throughout. 24 pages. A nice book for an excellent cause.
